Player of the Game & post-game surveys
Two optional, unrelated features share the same spot after a game: a Player of the Game vote (a per-team thing your coach turns on) and a short post-game survey (a league-wide thing your admin turns on, which asks about the game itself and, when one worked the game, the officiating). Neither is guaranteed to be on for your team — you’ll simply never see the prompt if they aren’t.
Who can do this
Section titled “Who can do this”Any active player, coach, or captain on the team involved in that game. Observers don’t get either prompt.
- Once a game is over and the score has been entered, check your dashboard — if a vote or survey is still waiting on you, a card appears at the top, the same spot as any other dashboard prompt.
- You can also open that game from your Games list — the same picker and survey live right on the game’s page. Both close automatically about a day and a half after the game’s scheduled start time, so a score entered late leaves a shorter window.
- Player of the Game: tap a teammate’s name (you can’t vote for yourself) and save. You can change your pick as many times as you like until voting closes.
- Post-game survey: rate the game out of five stars — and officiating, out of five stars, if the league assigned an official to that game — plus an optional written comment. Submitting doesn’t lock it in; you can come back and update it right up until it closes.
- Once the window closes, the picker is replaced with the result: the winner (or co-winners, on a tie) for Player of the Game, or “voting closed — no votes were cast” if nobody voted.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Both features are opt-in per team or league — if you never see either prompt, it likely just isn’t turned on where you play. Ask your coach or league admin if you think it should be.
- Nothing here is mandatory — the card and the game-page prompt just go away on their own once the window passes, whether or not you responded.
- Survey answers and votes are private to you until the window closes; only coaches and captains see the running tally while voting is still open.
