Signing waivers
Some leagues require you to sign one or more documents — a liability waiver, terms and conditions, a photo release — before you can finish registering for a season or a tournament. If any are required, you’ll see a signing window open automatically partway through registration, before payment.
Who can do this
Section titled “Who can do this”Anyone registering for a season or tournament that has one or more documents attached. Not every league uses this — if yours doesn’t, registration proceeds exactly as before with no extra step.
- When you submit the registration form, the signing window opens automatically if anything still needs your signature. A stepper across the top lists each document you need to sign, with a “then payment” step at the end if there’s a fee.
- Read the document in the viewer. You don’t have to scroll all the way to the bottom to sign — but it’s there for you to read in full if you want to.
- Click the dashed Click here to sign box below the document.
- A popover opens with your name already filled in — check it, edit it if needed, and confirm the date (today’s date is filled in for you). Click Adopt & sign.
- Your name appears in a signature-style script on the line, and the stepper checks off that document. If there’s another document attached, click Continue to move to it and repeat from step 2; on the last one, Continue moves you on to payment (or finishes registration if there’s no fee).
If you get interrupted partway through — your connection drops, or you close the window — nothing is lost. Reopening it (by registering again) picks up right where you left off; documents you already signed show as done.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Each season and tournament asks again, even for a document you’ve already signed elsewhere with identical wording. This is by design — a signature for one season’s play doesn’t cover a different season or a tournament.
- If a league adds a new document to a season or tournament after you’ve already registered, you won’t be locked out of anything — instead you’ll see a reminder card on your dashboard listing what’s still outstanding, with a Sign now button that opens the same signing window.
- You can only sign for yourself. If you’re a captain registering a team, you still only sign your own copy of each document — every teammate signs their own when they join.
