People: who's coming back
Organization → People starts with a card for each area you manage — Users, Teams and Officials (site admins also see Admins & access). Below them, organization admins see three things about the people themselves.
The tiles
Section titled “The tiles”- People — everyone who has ever been on a roster in your organization as a player, captain or coach.
- Playing now — people on a roster in a season that is open for registration, being scheduled, or in progress.
- New this season — people whose very first roster is one of those current seasons.
- Came back — of everyone who played a sport last term, the share back in that same sport this term, added up across sports. The Came back column in the season-by-season table below is a different figure: players who had any earlier season in your organization.
- Play 2+ sports — people on rosters in two or more sports right now.
Teams that didn’t come back
Section titled “Teams that didn’t come back”This card only appears when there is something to act on. League Sage links a team to a later team of the same sport when they share five or more players, and calls the linked chain a crew once it has two or more seasons of history. A crew is listed when the next season of a slot it has played — same sport, same weekday, same time of year — has opened registration and fewer than five of its players are back together in that sport. A team that only ever played summer kickball is never listed for fall kickball.
Each row shows the crew’s most recent team name, how many seasons they played together, how many of them still play somewhere else, and a pill: Not registered for … while that season is still in Registration or Scheduling, Not back for … once it is Published or Archived. Email captain opens a message to the last team’s captain, and Details unfolds the chain of team names, every player with where they play now, and a link to the team. On a phone, tap a row (the chevron shows whether it is open) to unfold the same details; Email captain and the team link sit at the bottom.
Who’s playing, season by season
Section titled “Who’s playing, season by season”One table per sport, newest first. A term is one sport’s seasons in the same part of the same year — Monday, Wednesday and Thursday fall softball count as one term. For each term you see Players, New to org (their first time in your organization was this time of year — someone who joins two sports in their first autumn counts as new in both), Came back (everyone else), and Kept from last: the share of the previous term’s players in that sport who are on a roster this term. The first term of a sport shows “first season”.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Everything is computed from rosters when the page loads. Nothing to configure, nothing to capture at season end.
- Time of year comes from each season’s start date and the weekday from the dates of the team’s scheduled games, so a season named “Fall” that starts in June counts as summer, and a typo in a season name changes nothing. A winter season that starts in November or December counts toward the following year, so a December 2026 start and a January 2027 start are one Winter 2027.
- League admins only see the Users and Teams cards, and no stats.
