What is League Sage?

League Sage is the app your rec league uses to run everything in one place — rosters, schedules, RSVPs, lineups, live scoring, stats, standings, and season registration. It works from a phone at the field just as well as from a computer at home, so whether you’re checking tonight’s game time or building a batting order in the parking lot, it’s the one place to go.

Everyone — players, coaches, captains, league admins, and officials all use the same app, just with different views. You don’t need an account to browse an open registration link, but you’ll want one to RSVP, see your team’s schedule, or manage a roster.

  1. Create an account — most players start by registering for an open season, which creates your account along the way. See Create your account.
  2. Played with this league before? If your league moved to League Sage from another system, your account might already exist — see Claim an imported account instead of registering fresh.
  3. Sign in whenever you come back — see Signing in.
  4. Get on a team roster. Depending on how your league works, you’ll be invited by a coach or captain, added via a shared team link, or — if you registered as a free agent — you’ll accept a draft offer from a captain. See Join your team.
  5. Install it on your phone so it’s one tap away on game day — see Install League Sage on your phone.
  • League Sage runs several sports on the same platform — softball, kickball, cornhole, pickleball, volleyball, and soccer. Your league’s sport decides what you’ll see: full batting orders and fielding for softball and kickball, simpler score entry for the others.
  • Every league (and the organization running it) has its own separate space in the app — signing in only ever shows you your own leagues, teams, and data.
  • Once you’re on a team, your dashboard becomes your home base: upcoming games, RSVP prompts, and your team’s standing all show up there automatically.
