Paying your dues & fees

Some leagues track registration fees or ongoing per-player dues right in League Sage and let you pay online; others track the same balances in the app but still collect payment outside it (cash, check, Venmo, whatever your league prefers). Which one applies is up to your league — this page covers what you’ll see either way.

Any player who owes recorded dues or a fee. The Your dues card itself doesn’t depend on your league using online payments — it shows up whenever your league has recorded a balance for you, online payments or not. Only the Pay online button depends on that setting. Nothing shows up here at all if you don’t currently owe anything, or if your league isn’t tracking dues in the app in the first place.

  1. If you owe a season fee or dues, a Your dues card appears on your dashboard listing what you owe, per team or season.
  2. If your league has online payment turned on for that charge, you’ll see a Pay online button next to the amount. Tapping it takes you to a secure payment page (hosted by Stripe) to enter your card — you’re returned to League Sage afterward and your balance updates.
  3. If your league also has payment instructions written up (say, “bring cash to game night” or a Venmo handle), those show right below the amount instead of, or alongside, the pay button.
  4. Some leagues also list an “Other ways to pay? Email …” contact — use that if you’d rather not pay online, or you have a question about your balance.
  5. Once you’re paid up, the card simply reads “Paid — thank you!” instead of an amount.
  6. If you’re registering for a new season, a required fee is worked into the registration flow itself rather than waiting for a dashboard card — see Create your account.
  • The dues card only appears once there’s actually something to pay — no balance, no card.
  • Some leagues waive the team-registration fee for whoever registers as team captain, while still charging everyone else — if that looks off, ask your captain or league admin rather than assuming it’s a mistake.
  • If your league isn’t tracking dues or fees in the app at all, don’t expect to find anything here — check with your coach or captain for how they’re handling payment.
